As an artist I believe in creating a work of art from scratch. Creating everything from hand, turning raw materials into works of art without the sterilizing effect of standard sized manufactured canvases and colors straight out of the bottle. I try to stay true to the medium of paint by creating visual effects that are inherent to paint.

As an architect I have always contemplated the effect my paintings have on defining a space and mood. The scale of the painting and forms are meant to relate directly back to the human observer, grounding them within their colorful and beautiful human form.
